How do you work out the price of a delivery?
- Our instant quote prices each job from the real driving distance between your collection and delivery postcodes, the vehicle you choose, the service level (same-day, urgent, planned and so on) and any equipment such as a tail lift or Hiab. You see the figure — and the route on a map — before you commit.
Which areas of the UK do you cover?
- We move freight by road right across the United Kingdom — England, Scotland and Wales — from our base near Hitchin. Whether it's a local same-day run or a nationwide full load, we match it with the right vehicle from our verified carrier network.
What size vehicles can I book?
- Everything from a small van for a single parcel or pallet, through Luton vans, 7.5-tonne, 18-tonne and 26-tonne lorries, up to 44-tonne articulated lorries for full loads. You can also request a curtainsider, box, flatbed or refrigerated body.
Do your prices include VAT?
- Haulage and courier services are standard-rated, so 20% VAT applies. Our quotes clearly show both the price excluding VAT and the VAT-inclusive total, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
How quickly can you collect?
- For same-day and urgent jobs we can often have a vehicle on the way within the hour during business times, with a 24/7 freight desk for emergencies. Planned deliveries are booked into a fixed window that suits you.
Will I get proof of delivery?
- Yes. Every job is tracked through to completion, and proof of delivery — including a photo or signed POD where relevant — is recorded and available to you in your client portal.
